uplifting and fun catchy pop punk that kind of feels like spring or early autumn. it also feels very tweemo to me. it’s not very sophisticated or complex but imo it conveys a feeling of freedom and warmth... idk. for some reason i keep coming back to it, so in conclusion: i really like this album!! also william beckett (vocalist) is peak gender

showbiz is simultaneously the most the most raw, emo and sexy muse album and that is something i appreciate. something i really like about muse and this album in particular is how they mix harsh electric guitars with softer melodies, piano or soft vocals (also matt bellamy’s voice is insane even if he sounds terribly british and angsty in this album)

before listening to it, i had seen this album around before among scene music online. however, one time i was actually lucky to find a (cheap! yay!) copy in a used record store, which was really unexpected. It turns out i enjoy this album a lot and i think it’s so much of fun to listen to… it’s very ‘i’m at a party and it’s 2008 and i’m wearing neon shutter shades!!!1!’
