my obsolete tech obsession (aka all the old shit i own :3)
recently i've been basically collecting some devices (mostly from the early 2000s, probably my fav era for tech) that are cool af. i've mostly gotten these from family members, and a few are bought second hand!!
two panasonic lumix digital cameras!! the silver one doesn't work well unfortunately, but the black one does and it's amazing :0
i love this silver sony walkman dearly. i bought it for 15 euros in its box, with all the original accesories and it works amazingly, it's super pretty and it's my baby :)
a basically brand new white nintendo ds lite. i love the design of this console so much and there's a lot of old games to download here!!

every summer i stay at my family's old house to escape from the city's summer heat and every summer i have slept next to the old computer, which has always just been broken. HOWEVER!!! this time we decided to try and fix it. the problem turned out to be a broken rubber band in the floppy disk drive that had basically desintegrated after 30+ years of no use (it was bought in the early 80s), so we opened up the whole thing, changed the rubber AND IT FUCKING WORKS. I AM EUPHORIC
